"The Amish Project" is written and performed by Jessica Dickey. And it has been extended twice, so do not count on it being extended forever, but get yourself down to Rattlestick Playwright Theater, which is down in the village. Tickets are $35; I have seen some of the information before on it, in that it looks at the Amish milkman who opened fire in an Amish school and killed six kids. And this is one woman's take on it. The reason to see this version is Jessica Dickey who plays nine different parts, including an eight-year-old little girl, and fifteen-year-old little girl, and on and on, as well as parents. It is a story about forgiveness, which I think is very hard to come by in this life, and it is provocative. It will touch, I think, in way that is unexpected, but quite wonderful, so five stars.
